Carlos is a 24 year old from East New York Brooklyn where he was raised prior to playing baseball by his loving family. He started playing high school baseball at John Adams High School where he was observed by professional scouts for the Mets. After college he began his professional career to where he is presently playing at the double aa level for The Mets. We wish Carlos all the very best and will continue to support him with our friendship throughout his career.

1st Baseman Top Prospect Bob Seda from Parma, Ohio

During my last visit to The Washington Nationals Spring Training Complex in Viera, Florida I had the pleasure of meeting Bob Seda and his father from Parma, Ohio. Bob Seda is a top prospect who had just completed playing in The Cocoa Expo Spring Training Tournament for The Ohio Orioles. He is completing his senior year at Padua-Franciscan High School in Parma, Ohio after which he will be playing 1st base at Lake Eire College. Bob Seda is listed at 200# at the height of 6'5" which will help him cover the range at 1st base. During the tournament he had a slugging percentage of .500 and had two game winning doubles which impressed many people in attendance. At this time I would like to introduce Mr. Bob Seda to all professional scouts and coaches of minor league teams to keep an eye out for this young man. He is both a good image to baseball and a great overall person, something which baseball needs today. Best of Luck to you in your future and please keep in touch here at Macks Mets.

Spring Training 2010

Today was a great day in Port St Lucis home of The New York Mets,
It was capped by an inside the park Grand Slam by catcher Omir Santos.
This was Omir's first ever and this added to his resume since it appears his stay
in New York is short. Oliver Perez got off to a slow start by throwing some meatballs with alot of hang time. Our new japanese relief pitchers looked great and former San Francisco Giant pitcher Pat Mitsch preformed well to close out the Nationals.
